Population ageing is a long-term trend in the Czech Republic and other developed countries, which poses risks to the stability of health and social systems. Managing them will require the implementation of effective public policies based on evidence and research. The AGEING-CZ project will provide the knowledge and build the expert base necessary to quantify the risks and propose solutions to ensure the stability of public systems and social reconciliation for an ageing population.
