Tereza Plistilova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Peace Research Center Prague (based at FSV UK) and the Institute of International Relations in Prague. Her research examines how political actors and the media construct and project narratives in international politics. Empirically, she focuses on contemporary politics in the Middle East and North Africa and on public and elite attitudes towards Israel and Palestine. In her research, she employs text-as-data methods, large language models (LLMs), and survey-based methods.

She completed her PhD in International Relations at the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, in September 2026. Among other topics, her dissertation explored how protests in the Middle East are framed in global media. In the 2024/2025 academic year, she was a Fulbright Fellow at Princeton University.
