Holocaust Studies courses:
An introductive Bachelor-level course Introduction to the Holocaust (scheduled for spring 2023, in Czech), will combine lecture-based and interactive teaching and employ digital tools, such as the IWitness, IWalk, and virtual tours at Holocaust museums and memorials.
An intermediate course for Bachelor and Master level, based on the education-through-research principle and active use of archival sources and VHA interviews (in English, scheduled for fall 2022 – see the preliminary syllabus attached). It will include fieldwork and a Holocaust-focused research trip (for financial implications see the Budget). Tentative title: Transnational politics, complicity, and victims of the Holocaus
An advanced, theoretical course on the Master level entitled Holocaust, Genocides and Ethnic Cleansing (scheduled for the academic year 2023-2024, in Czech).
