The goal of the project is to conduct participative interdisciplinary research concerning the economy of the Church at the Plzeň diocese while in the process of Church property restitution. The research participants, members of the Church or not, can collaborate on focusing the research in such a way so as to help the project overcome, as much as possible, the mutual misunderstandings and stereotypes between church and society. The project practically supports the bishop’s desire for transparent management and public service through its outcomes (workshops, publicly displayed maps and other outcomes). The Project also cultivates a reflection of interdisciplinary applied research in academia. We expect the effects of the research during the project as well as after its completion.
