Participants | Faculty of Social Sciences Charles University(main beneficiary); Institute of Philosophy of Czech Academy of Science |
The project aims to enhance the reproducibility of qualitative data analysis (QDA) in social science research, thereby increasing its social responsibility. It responds to the so-called reproducibility crisis, which points to the low robustness of published scientific findings. In SSHA fields working with QDAs, the possibilities for validating results are limited, reducing their credibility for other researchers, providers, and evaluators. The project will create and test a tool for computer-assisted QDA with elements supporting its reproducibility. It will integrate knowledge of philosophy o science, social science methodology and computer analysis techniques for unstructured data. The effect of the project will be massive and long-lasting thanks to the open solution.
