Bringing together legal, ethical, educational, media, security and psychological studies, the interdisciplinary project CZDEMOS4AI aims to explore the societal implications of the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of the next phase in the development of democracy, referred to as “open democracy”. Its basic attributes are dialogue on values, transparency and public participation in relation to AI. CZDEMOS4AI, in line with SIGMA’s DC5, addresses AI by focusing on the practical implications of a beneficial multi-agent AI avatar in a small democratic society. The application of an innovative AI avatar will lead to an effective performance of the state and public administration in the area of resilience, socio-technically aligned with needs of the Czech society.
