So-called contract cheating, where a student submits an assignment or a thesis elaborated by someone else, is one of the most pressing ethical problems of contemporary higher education. Contract cheating is difficult to detect, and even more difficult to prove. The project aims to develop a web application useful in disciplinary procedures to verify the authorship of a submitted document. The task of the suspicious student will be to fill in the omitted words in the text fragment. The application provides the user with such a passage and omits words with the highest ability to distinguish authorship. The project also aims to find out to what extent students use AI-based text generators and what they do with their outputs. Also, clarify attitudes and information about contract cheating.
